In less than 2 weeks me and my fellow final year photography students will be holding a small interim exhibition in Byram Arcade, Huddersfield. The exhibition will be a taster of what’s to come in our end of year show, and every student will be showcasing just one print each from their final major project.
The projects are still “work in progress” which is the reason why we will only be exhibiting one print each, but it’s great practice for us ready for the big exhibition in June. I’m quite excited as it will actually be the first time I’ve ever exhibited any work to the public so it will be a fun experience to be a part of!
The exhibition will take place in Byram Arcade in Huddersfield which is just up the road from Nandos on Westgate. We will be up on the second floor in the far right corner where the shop Working Class Hero Vintage used to be. We’ve managed to get hold of the space for free through somewhereto_ (see their website for more details on what they do!) so next week the work begins on getting the space cleaned up and re-painted ready for the show!
If you’d like to come along to see the show our opening night is Tuesday 15th December in Byram Arcade from 6-9pm! We will also be open during the day on Wednesday 16th if you can’t make it to the evening do.
Hope to see you all there!
